Nurpur Fort

Nurpur Fort Formerly called the Dhameri Fort, Nupur Fort was built in the 10th century. The British abandoned the fort and then a 1905 earthquake ruined it. Built in the 16th century, the temple inside the fort called Brij Raj Swami is considered to be one of the only places where Lord Krishna’s and Meera Bai’s idols are worshiped.
